Rap-Up.com || Is Lil Wayne’s ‘Rebirth’ Ever Getting Released?

April 7. May 19. June 9. June 16. June 23. July 21. Lil Wayne’s Rebirth is hitting the road once again.

After constant delays, Weezy’s venture into rock has moved to August 18, Rap-Up.com can confirm. The album had most recently been scheduled for July 21. This is the sixth pushback for a project that was originally set for April.

Wayne and Universal Motown need to just go ahead and drop Rebirth so we can get to what we’re really waiting for, Tha Carter IV. A Christmas release for the latter is looking slim at this point.

yeah,,,,,,, he should just say that it won’t be released before like November or December..
or even better, release Rebirth in November & C4 in December :D

I think deep down inside Lil Wayne and his label are already kinda regretting this venture into rock move. I mean, people are just not checking for it.

He should just slap it on the back of the Carter IV as a bonus disc or something for a deluxe version. Or make it available on iTunes/Rhapsody as an EP…

But it to be a separate project at this point is kind of…pointless..?

I agree with bass_man. The album is not going to sell in stores, even if it has Lil Wayne’s name on it. The best plan would be releasing it as an EP or as a bonus disc on a future album.
