To this day, the music we created together on Off The Wall, Thriller and Bad is played in every corner of the world and the reason for that is because he had it all…talent, grace, professionalism and dedication. I believe Michael Jackson is a true icon & is a major component in the movement of music. I agree with all the great things ppl & the stars hav said but I don’t agree with ppl saying there won’t be another like him, that’s true in some sense but that’s also saying that he didn’t inspire anybody. If not for him where would Ciara, Beyonce(2004 beyonce not this 1who’s driven by tuna tuner), Chris Brown(Run it singer not this woman beater), rihanna(former rihanna not this person who has let the fame get2her), Justin Timberlake, etc be. No, no1 will do what he did but he’s inspired many & I wish his family the best.

Man…no words I grew up with Michael. I never expected this one to go…but you never do. At least now he is resting. Its sad I think that having so many people hate him took its toll. To go from having the love and admiration of the world on a large scale and then being shunned. I can’t imagine. It’s nice that people remember him in a good light now. He was strange…so what? What NORMAL genius do any of us know? I pray for his family and all of his fans. It’s a crushing blow. I’ll miss you Michael. You have no idea how you touched my life.

While i wasn’t exactly an 80′s baby (i was born in the last month of the 1980′s), i still got to see and realize how big of a star Michael Jackson was. He had this certain thing about him that artists today don’t have, he was different and he never blended himself in with anyone else. One of the most unfortunate things about this situation is that Michael never really got the chance to redeem himself. It’s also disappointing knowing that i will never get to see the “King of Pop” perform live. I think everyone can agree with me that music will never be the same again.

  13. DJ Triumph

Losing Michael is so sad. He was a special spirit sent to the world with a message. He reminded us throughhis music not to lose the joy and perspective you arrive here with. So many of us lose it. He was very misunderstood and it must have been heartbreaking to him. We have lost someone very special. RIP Michael. We will miss you.
