Jordin Sparks goes from the “Battlefield” to the dance floor with her new single, “S.O.S. (Let the Music Play),” which samples Shannon’s ’80s hit of the same name. The “American Idol” winner’s sophomore album Battlefield arrives July 21.

It’s good. Prolly will do do really good on the pop charts. I remember her saying that this album was gonna be like a mix between Beyonce and Rihanna albums. She got that totally wrong. Her songs are not sexy like theirs are. No offense because i’m a big jordin fan, i just think she needs to put her purity thing behind her, admit that she dating Steff Jones, and bring the SEXY ON!!!

This is a really different sound for Jordin, definitely her most pop influenced single to date. I like it alot, it’ll definitely do well on the charts.
