Rap-Up.com || Mariah Carey’s ‘Memoirs’ Pushed Back

Fans will have to wait to get their hands on Mariah Carey’s Memoirs.

The pop diva’s 12th studio album, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel, has been pushed back three weeks to September 15, Rap-Up.com can confirm. It had previously been scheduled for an August 25 release. There are reports that the album was not completed in time to make the original release date.

“Can’t wait to get bc in the studio and finish up tomorrow. My deadline is asap, so if I don’t tweet much for a few days.. Pls forgive me,” Mariah wrote in a tweet from July 12.

As recently as Tuesday morning, she tweeted that she was still in the studio finishing the project. A video for the “Obsessed (Remix)” featuring Gucci Mane will premiere Thursday.

The album will miss the August 31 cutoff for the 2010 Grammy Awards nominations and will now go head-to-head on the charts with Jay-Z’s Blueprint 3 (Sept. 11) and Kid Cudi’s Man on the Moon: The End of Day.

Again-the Grammys need to EXTEND THAT FRIGGIN CUTOFF DATE!

Too much good music is being forgotten because of that-I call for an extension to December 17-if that means the Grammys are in April, then so be it!

I WAS a huge Mariah fanatic but now I’m just like “she’s another female artist.” I do believe she needs a more power pack single because eminem aint doin it for her. & I won’t be buying her album but if her date changes because I will be on Wity and Jays new CD. Much luck to her anyway, hopefully she can that xfactor back that set her apart from all the other females in the game cuz I miss her.

I lost all respect for whitney when I saw the real her. Doing the show with bobby let me she who she really is. I used to think she was such a classy and elegant lady but, when she started talking like she lived in the gutter, that was it. Talking about bobby picking poop out of her butt?! Nasty! She has a foul mouth and is a liar. She did drugs. She should have just come clean and shared her story so she could inspire others to get help with their addictions. Sorry whit but it’s the truth.

Mariah is afraid because of Whitney’s new long awaited CD. Just look at Amazon pre-orders (Whit # 31, MC #290). Whitney proved she could really sing again. Mariah, unfortunately, lost her voice and try to sell being half naked and singing crap.

Figures….sucks to know when you’re wack and need to fall back. I predict a major flop. With all the Whitney buzz Lamb Chop will get lost in the shuffle. You know what I just found out…The Dream stole Whitney’s “Like I Never Left” song and put it on Lamb Chop’s new album. Hers is called “They Don’t Know Me.” It has the exact chord changes as Whitney’s song but the tempo is slowed down. Lamb Chop is waaaaack for that bogus ish.
