Whitney Houston Lifts Off in New York![]() After bringing the house to its feet in London last week, Whitney Houston previewed her new album, I Look to You, in New York City on Tuesday. Everyone from Whitney’s mother Cissy to Martha Stewart to Dionne Warwick gathered at Lincoln Center to hear the diva’s first studio album in seven years. Rumored couple Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz were on hand to hear the song they wrote and produced, “Million Dollar Bill,” played over the speakers. Alicia even whipped out her camera to capture the moment.

I am literally shaking as I read about this New York listening party. I am sooooo excited about the Grand Diva of all divas returning to the music scene after 8 years of being away! I will buy at least a dozen CDs to support Whitney and give them away as gifts! The Queen has come home to her throne!

WOW! Whitney looks a lot like my late grandmother back in the ’80s as a little kid! I love her so much!!
That famous night club where Whitney got her start, Sweetwaters, was located just a couple blocks from this party. I saw Dionne Warwick live UP CLOSE just last friday (for FREE!); while I’m not a person who likes a lot of hip-hop (particularly rapped hip-hop), I’m hoping Whitney’s album will close the generation gap a bit. I want it to be a nice mix of old Whitney magic with blending in a bit with today’s sound (but little or no auto-tune, please!)

Who would have thought Whitney could come back after the whole bullshit life with Bobby.
But good looking out for Whitney, 1 of the best!!
