Solange has decided to join the club and shave her head. The “T.O.N.Y.” singer was snapped on the streets of Los Angeles with a nearly bald head on Wednesday. Beyoncé’s little sister did not give her bold new look a grand debut though, choosing to wear a wig later in the evening to the Dita Von Teese show in Hollywood.

“I have to have fun with it or I’ll turn into Britney—shave my head and go totally crazy,” she said in the past.

I live in central valley, cali. You don’t see hardly ANY black women with naturally long hair here. It seems that almost every black woman with long hair either has extensions or is wearing a wig. Was Solange’s (long) hair real?

Everyone is hating on this girl for doing her own thing. African American’s in general are so into permed, wigs, weaves, “good hair” that when one of us chooses to go all natural the hate in just comes out. It’s so sad.
