R. Kelly’s demo of Whitney Houston’s “Salute” takes a leak. The song is one of two tracks Kells did for Whitney’s new album I Look to You. After hearing her version at the L.A. listening, we can confidently say we prefer Whitney’s, which has more oomph.

R. Kelly sounds so good on this.. I wish his albums were more like the subject matter of this song.. I think he’s old enough where he can make more “I believe I can Fly” -esque songs.
I know Whitney is gonna murder this.. I absolutely love it. Tricky killed the production too!

I can imagine Whitney picturing Bobby as she tears this up. Her inspiratin will make her kill this track. Can’t wait till Aug 31 to hear Ms. Houston bring it!

Whitney will tear this up…we all know its about Bobby. It sounds like “Irreplaceable” a bit too. Real nice mid tempo R&B track.

All of these demos are leaking! Highly anticipated record. But, I’ll see how I like her album because I’m not feeling the first singles.
