Here’s the original version of Keri Hilson’s “Get Your Money Up,” which features a verse from Teyana Taylor. Teyana was later replaced with Trina on the album version. You can hear Teyana’s voice at the end of both songs (“We don’t like them broke boys”).

I’d never liked that song…

Every time that “We don’t like ‘em broke boys” came up, I’d yell back “WE DON’T LIKE ‘EM GOLD DIGGERS!” It was reasssuring for me to hear in her Complex mag interview that the song was just a stereotypical “ATL chick” record, and didn’t express her true feelings at all (in real life, she’s more like her part on Timbo’s “The Way I Are”-which was my sheeeeeiiiiiit!)

As for Teyana’s verse-MUCH better. Don’t know why they cut hers out (Maybe because that song doesn’t fit her personality too?)

yo teyana taylor went in on this shit amazing remix!!! way better than the original with Trina. I wish Keri Hilson would release a video to this. It would shoot straight to the top of the charts.
