We are shooting this week! I’m one of the dancers who also happens to be a fan of A. She is such a sweet and down to earth girl to work with. You all are going to LOVE the routine!hahaha! LOTS of dancing, and female empowerment! I performed with her back in 07 over in the UK and this is by far going to be the best routine she has done. I think you all will love it! I would give more detail but I think she wants it to be a surprise.

Amerie’s very creative and I like the cover but the song it self is kind of lame. Its nothing special & it will reach its peak the 1st week its released on itunes. I’m sorry but the song will be just a tad bit better than Why R U which means it’ll peak above 80 this time, lol.

@Kim the songs that are lame are the whack ass imitations of other songs on the radio. Radio NEEDS people like A keys, Brandy and Amerie. All of whom have distinctive voices and sounds. If it dos not do well it is definitely because there is no room for a song that does not follow an airplay formula.

The cover is super edgy for Amerie. I don’t really like the font though, it seems like that would be a font for a heavy metal band like Metallica or something, but hey Amerie’s doing something different. I’m still kinda on the fence regarding how this single will perform. It’s definitely different, so I hope it can break into the mainstream. I wish “Why R U” would’ve made a bit more noise cause I love that song.

the artwork for the cover is great.. but the typography.. like 3D no lord.. this is the most tacky thing that i watched from a while.
seems that there where two graphical designers working on there.. and who choosed the typography FAILED

The dancer above along with a male dancer on twitter made a comment about the routine being crazy and his body soar…lol…must be A LOT of moving! Amerie did say on 106th that the routine would be heavily choreographed. With these being a club banger, people loving her Elle shoot and good promo and banger video! She is on her way!

See the thing I like about Amerie is that she does her own thing. This woman is class, intelligence, talent, beauty and art in one person. I admire her because she is very hands on with the producing, writing and packaging. I hope Def Jam can give her the push she needs to take it to the next level. She is talented, still beautiful and respected by critics and her fans.

Yea the font looks off..the photo is gorgeous though. I like her personality and think she is very unique especially when it comes to “r&b chicks”. My top ones that actually stand out with be Lauryn Hill, Aaliyah, Brandy, Amerie and Alicia Keys. Something about them fascinates me…from their personalities to music.
