Everybody knows Mariah writes her songs and sprinkles in a few covers now and then. That just shows her respect for the work of other artists, too. Hard to box Mariah up, isn’t it? LOL

Mariah has ALWAYS wrote her own muisc covers aside / & its not like shes done many covers, but the ones she did do have been done tastefully, some going to #1. this cover has got alot of praise, so pretty much its going to be a hit.

leela james’ version was pure hotness

wonder how mariah’s would sound like…i think they made it a little more modern

and as said, mariah always covered songs and they were hits! where is the problem?

you can cover a song and be original too, sometimes its even harder cause you have to bring your own note into it.

but didnt know why they did not release h.a.t.e.u., cause the snippet which leaked a couple weeks ago was hot…

against all odds is one of my favourites by her and i love “i wanna know what love is”, so i am optimistic with it
