Nola, after a couple of listens, and understanding Wales DOPE lyricism, it grew on me as a very nice record. I can picture a video for this already with Wale and Jazmine shooting the video around the globe.
Yea, this is a great record, it reminds me of Jay-Z’s Encore. The way Wale says the hook reminds me of the way Jay-Z says the hook on Encore. I guess because World Tour and Encore kind of rhymes.
Let’s all cop Attention: Deficit on October 20, the album is anticipated and previewed to be amazing.

Okay, now it doesn’t really sound like Encore, world tour and encore just kind of rhymes.
Anyway, World Tour is very dope. After listening to Encore, World Tour seems to be better.

dope record! wale and jazmine did their thing on this record. it will hopefully do better than the single with gaga. Only problem is with Wale’s second verse when he says “See Jay did Scotland and everybody jocked him/I did Scotland and got no props for it.” WTF?!?! You are not on the level of Jay-Z. You’re name alone doesn’t sell out stadiums. You should be thankful that you can even get booked in Scotland because you haven’t even released an album yet. Pay your dues first.

listen, that verse is not a problem. See, this song is about Wale’s journey in rap, and it tells the story of certain events Wale went through and how much Wale wants to be at the top.
From da beginning Wale pointed out how he was to pass the bar(get to the top), and now he wants to do that by passing bars(rapping). He also wants to be one of the best performers and connect with the people(which he is doing now). So in the verse Wale explains that at that time he performed in Scotland and ripped it, but didn’t get props or the right recognition for it, so he compared Jay’s status to how he would like to be(because he was still beginning his journey with Mark Ronson).
He knew he wasn’t on Jay-z’s level, but now with the release of the Critically Claimed Classic Attention:Deficit album, he is on his way to be better with a bright future.
Sorry for the essay, I just had to clear the air because I know Wale’s a humble dude.
