In the latest clip from Chris Brown’s cleanup campaign, his teary-eyed mother Joyce Hawkins speaks out on the February incident.
“I was totally shocked, totally upset about the whole situation ’cause I know that Chris has never ever been a violent person, ever,” she told Larry King in the interview, which airs tonight at 9 p.m. EST on CNN.

Chris’s mother was a victim of abuse, so what better way to recover than to have her (a person like Rihanna) on his side. It does nothing for me, but display Chris’s desperation to get back on the good side. Chris we see right through you and your a violent, disgusting man. Rihanna doesn’t even discuss the situation or anything, yet Chris is hung on it still, like the ladies who want to be f’d by this man. This proves that he’s doing it for good publicity so he can become the supposed good singer he was.

I had to deal with my mom being beaten by my stepdad, and I hated him. My pastor at my church though told me “Its good to forgive. But don’t ever forget. No one is perfect, including you. You’ve got to acknowledge the mistakes made, learn from it, and move on.”

see i almost wanna feel bad for him… but it’s hard… like he aint just hit her, he whooped her ass… like damn I’m tryna figure out when did he realized.. “oh shit, i need to stop hitting”… and I see all this publicity to prove that he aint gonna do it again.. in away it don’t mean much.. Actions speak louder than words, so I hope he just never finds himself in compromising circumstances like this again, with any woman, ever!… He’ll be iight..

Okay. For all you ppl out there, that are giving chris brown a hard time…you should just cut it out! No one was there when the incident happend except him and rihanna. So you cant judge, and say what happend and what didnt. He has asked for forgivness numerous times, so we should let it go. It takes major guts to go on national televison and explain yourself after something big like that. So just leave him alone! No one can say what they would do in the situation, until their actually in it. So stop being haters!!!! And give him another chance. ILY chris brown!
