there will always be haters and people criticizing people no matter what… all he can do is bounce back from the evil he has done. && i hope he succeeds in doing so. he’s young, people make mistakes and hopefully he learns from his… at the end of the day he’s an entertainer and that’s what hes going to continue to do whether anyone likes it or not… i’m sure the record will be a big hit, Chris is tha shit…

@ Taijmonae Parker
But he’s getting counseling so that he WON’T ever do it again.
So are you saying that any kind of anger management course or domestic violence course is completely hopeless, good for nothing, and not worth anyones time because as you said “if he’ll do it once he’ll do it again”?? That’s bullsh*t in my opinion. If someone is willing to change, and taking the proper steps to get help to change, then why is it so hard to believe that the person can change??? You don’t even know this person personally to even have any valid prediction of what he will or won’t do in the future!! And not everyone is a statistic.
There are “crackheads” who went to rehab and never did drugs again
There are alcoholics who went to Alcoholics Anonymous and have never touched alcohol again
Even Oprah had a show of men who USED to be abusers but got counseling and have never done it again…so she needs to stop feeding the public with that “if he’ll do it once, he’ll do it again” bullsh*t without including “if he is unwilling to get counseling and rehabilitation and does not want to seek the proper means to get help”
We shouldn’t give up on people who makes mistakes and are willing to make changes in their life. We should let them receive their punishments for their wrong doing cuz everything comes with consequences and we should give people hope and encouragement as well. Cuz turning our backs on people, won’t help them, it will make them worse. Thats for people in general who make any kind of mistake.
I will be buying Graffiti that’s for sure.

I wouldn’t necessarily call someone a hater just because they don’t approve of domestic abuse. It’s just an opinion just like you have one. Not everyone is going to love Chris so opposition is expected. I personally think he needs to get right with God if he hasn’t already. Rihanna too.

@ Kay
How you gone say may God forgive him and than turn around and say CB gotta pay for what he did. Just leave the whole thing in Gods hands and fall back with your silly and meaningless comments. Do your research on domestic violence. Most of the time, the abusers are out of jail within days just to turn around and repeat the same offense on the same person again. This man’s community service is far more intense than 3 days in jail. Besides, dont blame CB. The judge handed down the verdict and thats all you hateful ass people need to know.
How are you going to live your own lives when you put so much time and negativity into someone elses? Grow the f**k up kiddies. The Presidant is Black!!

You know the fact that people have the time to even come on a Chris Brown post and take their time of the day and comment on it. Says “You Gave A Sh**.” “You Care.” “You’re Checking For It.”
If you didn’t trust me you wouldn’t be waste time commenting.
He even told “If you ain’t messing it, why the hell are you even commenting.”

@ MOMO,
I agree with you completely. & I disagree with people saying “we should judge him musically, not for what he did.” Its hypocripsy to do such a thing, if he wasn’t making music from the heart & soul then he’d just putting out music to put out music which would be dumb. & how can healing take time if not much time has passed to heal? I was a fan because his music helped me get through an abusive relationship, but to see him turn against what he stood for, makes me wonder why people still support him so. Thousands of females die at the hands of men like him. Even when Rihanna “faked” the call to her assistant to have security ready he still assulted her (not more, it progressed), which proves he is 100% at fault and he shouldve received a harsher punishment. & its not hate if your just voicing your opinion to you hypericites, I call hypercites because you say “don’t hate & forgive” but are quick to be calling he or she a b1tch because they believe he should have no career. Aren’t you hating if you do so? I’m no longer a fan/supporter but goodluck to him & his career & I extremely hope he gets a better and more mature fan base because none of them are helping the situation to become any more positive.

@ momo … =) haha
You must have read thru my comment really fast, because you seem to have missed my point completely. My comment wasn’t about domestic violence or the Feb. 8th incident, it was about rehabilitation and a person being able to change, learn from their mistakes and never repeat the horrible thing(s) they’ve done in the past and I included an example about drugs, alcohol and domestic violence.
I understand domestic violence is a serious issue that shouldn’t be taken lightly. I understand the damage and the extent of the damage it can cause. I understand that people who commit these crimes should be punished in the court of law. I also understand that not every single person or “abuser” is the same as the last, not every single “victim” is the same as the last and not every domestic violence situation/case is the same as the last. But as I said before, my statement was not about domestic violence, it was about individuals and their rehabilitation. I was just disagreeing with a previous comment.
NOT ONCE did I say that Chris has changed or that “he’s all better”. My “bulls*t” statement did not have anything to do with domestic violence or the incident, it was directed at the belief that if someone commits a certain act, that they are doomed to keep doing that certain act as if there is no chance or hope for them to change. I believe that if a person wants to change and takes the proper steps to change, then they can change. Chris will be going to counseling to receive help for his problem, he said in an interview he is willing to receive help so who is anyone to say he will repeat that horrible act in the future? If he does it again, then say whatever you want.
Like I said, you must have read thru my comment really fast because not once did I give the impression that if a “crackhead” wants to quit doing crack they can do it at he snap of their fingers. I said , and I’m quoting myself,
“There are “crackheads” who went to rehab and never did drugs again”
…did you not catch the word “rehab”, do you not know what that is??? You said that it takes time and commitment to kick a drug addiction…ummm yeah, THATS WHAT REHAB CONSISTS OF as does Alcoholics Anonymous, they are both programs that require lots of time and commitment among other things. I will stick with my analogy thank you very much. My analogy is not flawed, if anything it’s your reading and comprehension skills that are flawed. Thinking I was discussing something that I clearly was not (domestic violence & Feb. 8th incident/rehabilitation), and thinking I said somethings when clearly I did not say those things (Chris is all better/he has changed).
If you do not like Chris, thats cool. If you do not want to support his music, that fine. If you choose not to separate the man/act from the music, thats your choice. If you don’t agree with some of the comments here thats understandable, people disagree on things all the time. Everyone has the right to feel what they want. But, if I do not like an artist, or do not care about an artist, I do not read up on information about them, I do not click on their posts, I do not leave comments, I do not pay them any kind of attention. I just keep it moving, cuz I could care less about that artist. But that is just me, I guess we all do things differently.
P.S. I’m sorry to hear that you had to experience DV in your family.

You cannot continue to penalize his music like that. He’s talented, give him that much please. Yeah, he f*cked up, that’s a given. We know. But if you don’t support his music, dance skills or him for that matter, why bother reading up on him or saying anything at all? Your just wasting your time. And if what he’s saying is true and Rihanna has forgiven him, why can’t others? It takes a real hateful person not to forgive someone.

@ Holy Jamala, I agree with you competely. There will always be haters but I forgive Chris & hope his career bounces back. I’m a psycho crazy fan but I’m not going to degrade or even waste my time with haters because it displays the only weakness he has, stupid retarded fans. Chris rocks, lol (not Chris rock), he’s talented and very gifted with music but his only flaw is his fans, he’s trying to bounce back but his fans don’t provide support just hate, hate towards his haters. Its degrading to such a thing, but I love Chris & I CAN’T wait for Grafitti!!!

Music has been better without him .
No one misses his weak pop music.
REAL R&B is going in right now anyway.
But
Why does he need assistance on his single?
Its bad enough he needs assistance to sing and hit notes.
Then he went and got with wayne?
We dont need studio singers in the game.
Him and many other puppets need to just leave the game alone.
He cant and wont ever make REAL music or a classic anything. He’s just for right now his music isnt timeless. We wont be listening to it 5 years from now. Only folks rocking with him are simple chicks that dont know what real music is.

Its going to be his lowest sales in history, so good luck. I know your die hard fans will buy 20 copies each to make up for the lost fans he had.
