I love Mariah, she can do no wrong in my eyes. I love the flow of this album. My favorites are “Ribbon”, “Inseparable”, “H.A.T.E.U”, “Up Out My Face”, “Angels Cry”, and “I Want To Know What Love Is.”

Candy Bling, Inseperable, It’s A Wrap, Up Out My Face, More Than Just Friends, Angels Cry and the singles are AMAZING!
If “Up Out My Face” isn’t a single, shoot me!
This is a classic, I’m DEFINITELY gonna cop it!

I must say even though I was afraid of Callob of Mimi, Tricky, & Dream for an entire album, I still wanted to see what Memiors had tooffer. After taking a listen to the preview I must admit I am shocked but in a good way because this album gives us some mature Mimi from her early years but still with a updated feel. In other words an updated version of Butterfly. Also this is a focused body of work and flows together nicely, overall a job well done. I will be purchasing this album on release day.

Feeling these Mimi Tracks she needs to strech this album out…. Cause she can get a 5-6 good singles off this album.. Cohessiveness and I’m actually loving this actually sounds lie a memor of angel with each song being a journal entry..

I was kinda uncertain about this album due to the many delays and that autotune crap “Obsessed”
But this sounds like a well-crafted rnb/hiphop album, modern, cool, and flows really nicely.
I love even the Up Out My Face (Reprise), i’ve never seen a song like that by Mariah (in a good way)!
but IMO the standouts are Hate U, Candy Bling, Up out my Face, The Impossible, Angel (Reprise), Angels Cry and Languishing (interlude)

This album is horrible, I commend her on the beautiful album title and the amount of songs she has on the album. But this album is full of raspy vocals, whispers and autotune.
The Empancipation of Mimi was her last good album.

This is not at all what I expected, and that’s a good thing! Mariah has had a lot of of fun records as of late, but the emotion in her voice has been missing since Butterfly…IT’S BACK! This CD sounds amazing, and I can now confidently say it will be purchased the day it’s released by me (wasn’t so sure, but WOW!).
This is the Mariah the world has been waiting for. HATEU is heaven.

Very cohesive and very mature album based on the snippets from what I’ve heard so far.I can’t judge the album based on those, so therefore I’ll have to wait until the release date.Even though there is a lot of Tricky/Dream production and some songs may sound familiar, maybe it’s because we are unfamiliar with them on first hearing these snippets which is why some are very surpised.Overall, the album isn’t cluttered with guests nor with numerous super producers trying to make the record sound like a collection of singles geared for radio which is a not what Mariah was after this time. It’s a a step in the right direction and sign of maturity for Pop music’s eternally 12 year old.

I adore Mariah but this album is nothing but a reflection of the sad path she had taken in her career. It is not bad to be versatile and venture into something new so long as it will undermine your talent as a singer. For me this album does not give justice to what Mariah is capable of. I love the artistry but this is not the kind of stuff that mariah should be venturing into. I love I Want To KNow What Love is as it is very reminiscent of what Mariah does best: power ballads. Her trying to be hop hop is commendable but not very impressive as it undermines the identity that she is known and love for. That is a singer who blew people of with decent songs.

WOW¡ BRAVO THIS WORK IS ELEGANT AND SUBTLE . I THINK SHE IS TAKING US BY SURPRISE BECAUSE SHE HASN’T PROMOTED IT WELL, THE MUSIC IS BREATHTAKING EMOTIONAL AND PURE RAW FEELINGS THAT LAY SO INSIDE OF US . SHE IS TAKING THEM OUT ONCE AGAIN. GOOD WORK MC.
