Alicia Keys throws herself into the fourth quarter race with “Doesn’t Mean Anything,” the first single from her as-yet-untitled fourth studio album. The Grammy winner strikes all the right chords on the piano-driven R&B number about lost love, the perfect record as we head into fall.

People will catch on to this. It’s great music. She i trying to win over the world and mark her place in history so it’s not the straight up r&b people are used to. This is a timeless record. Nice Ms. Keys. Its a strong record.

Not quite as good as No One, but still a beautiful song. I love her for what she does, there aren’t a lot of real singer/songwriter/producer artists left in the R&B/Urban music.

She just put “If I Ain’t Got You” and “No One” together. she should’ve just stayed away a little while longer and grown a bit.
It’ll grow on me, I’m sure. Just disappointed. Worst first single from her.

I agree with bass_man. Don’t get me wrong, i’m glad that she’s back so soon (she usually takes 3-4 years to come out with a new album) but this song doesn’t do it for me. It sounds too dated.
