Rap-Up TV: Amerie at the 2009 MTV VMAs

Amerie talks about her new album In Love & War (Nov. 3), hooking up with Lil Wayne, working with L.A. Reid at Island Def Jam, and the concept for the “Heard ’Em All” video on the red carpet at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.

    Her albums gonna be really good. Pretty Brown Eyes with Trey Songz is a banger, so far thats my favorite track of Ameries. Def Jam was definately a good move for her. There puting more money into her project, promotion, etc so hopefully when her album drops it will do well.

    Amerie is one of the few ARTIST left among the gimmicks, swagger jackers and trendy music followers. Her last album was wack??? Rolling stone a long with many other critics in the US AND OVERSEAS DIDN’T THINK SO. Her last two albums were both critically acclaimed! Get it right bOO!
