Mariah Carey stopped by Rockefeller Plaza on Tuesday (Sept. 29) to chat with the “Today” show hosts about her studio habits, advice from her mom, whose idea it was to cover Foreigner’s “I Want to Know What Love Is,” and being a “thug princess.” MC will perform on Friday’s show.

Remember we see an image an artist wants us to see in front of the camera we don”t know them when the lights camera action is turned off. So don”t assume anything.
