It’s over before it even began. Kanye West and Lady Gaga’s much-hyped “Fame Kills” joint tour has been officially canceled.

Concert promoter Live Nation confirmed the news in an official statement on Thursday. No explanation was given.

Live Nation announced today that the Kanye West and Lady Gaga “Fame Kills” tour has been cancelled.
Refunds are available at the point of purchase. Tickets purchased online and via phone will be refunded automatically.

There had been rumors of a cancellation in the weeks following the MTV Video Music Awards. Tickets for select shows had already gone on sale.

The only souvenir we have to remind us of what never was is this provocative promo video.

thats because no one wanted to support Kanye West after his immature out burst at the VMA’s. Hope it affects his music and his money so he can learn from his mistakes. We the people are buying your bills Kanye, so don’t upset us or you dont get paid……simple

how did the MTV thing affect Kanye’s money? People who buy Kanye’s albums will CONTINUE to buy Kanye’s albums because they are GREAT. No shade but Kanye fans are not Taylor Swift fans…He’ll still get money!

Wanna know why? Isn’t Kanye West such a major stage-stealer, Lady Gaga? For once, we’ve all been taken aback by his scandalous act in the 2009 MTV Music Video Awards, where he literally filched Taylor Swift’s “winning moment”. At least, Lady Gaga is picking up on someone her own size, as famous as she is, in the proper time and place–practically in the common stage that she and Kanye West shared. Unlike Kanye who is totally inappropriate. Gaga is no non-sense. I’ve seen Gaga’s interview with CNN, and it amazed me when she said that she spends every dollar she makes to her performances and she’s hands-on on all these, not just your ordinary pop star who is spoon-fed with just every bit of fame they got to show off. And this is what she answered when interviewer Kristie Lu Stout asked about the scrutiny under the tremendous fame she’s getting: “There’s no downsides…I’ve always been taught that only value the opinions of those you respect, and anyone you don’t respect, pay no mind to their opinion about you or anything else, and that’s how I live my life.” Bravo!
