Chris Brown Brings the Circus to the Studio

Chris Brown and Ester Dean

Ester Dean is climbing the charts with “Drop It Low,” her collaboration with Chris Brown from the More Than a Game soundtrack. The rising star was bubbling with excitement as she shared the experience of recording with her famous peer.

“Chris Brown’s like a brother to me,” the songwriter behind Mary J. Blige’s “Stronger” and Keri Hilson’s “Make Love” tells Rap-Up.com. “I wanted him on ["Drop It Low"] after he wrote it and he said yes. We did a lot of songs together.”

Dean describes their sessions as electric. “Oh my God! There’s so much energy in there because him and his artist Scooter Smiff, all they do is dance. They’re sweating and they’re dancing,” she laughed. “It’s like a circus in there. It’s so much fun!”

But when they leave the studio, the friends try to avoid the pap’s flashing lights. “I don’t do the whole paparazzi thing. Chris came to my skate party. I like to hang with him inside places. I’m not used to all that.”

As for Brown, Dean says he has been keeping his head up through his recent troubles. “He’s been taking it like a man. His fans are very supportive of him and of course, we are too. We block it out. He has to deal with it himself. Our job is to keep everything positive.”

@BETDABESS, would you happen to be a sockpuppet of “BEYDABESS”?

“Drop It Low” isn’t either one’s best…But its purpose was to get Ester on the radio and in the clubs, and it’s sure doing that! She has plenty more talent that you haven’t heard of, so wait until her album drops before you judge, OK?

@Burmy, I actually think she’s a cute girl nothing breath taking but cute besides once she get her eyebrows re-done and work on her skin i could see her in endorsements…

@Diamond, I completely agree with you there (very good-looking), and quite a sweetheart too! I was just defending her against anybody who would chew out “Drop It Low” and there have been quite a few haters. But then again, when the haters come out, you know you’ve made it!

I like the song “Drop It Low” it has a good beat and you can dance to it. Chris Brown is very talented. This young man has way too many talents for haters, hypocrits, jerks, and assholes to keep him down. The Lord did not bless him with all the talents he has for nothing. I don’t like how Mary J. Blige is going about this whole “Stronger” song. She is not given Chris Brown the credit he deserves for the song. It is reported that, that’s his voice singing in the background. Not only did she not feature him in the song, but she didn’t want him in the videao. She is just now begining to make a full comback after she was on drugs real bad, nobody wanted to socialize with her at first, so I hope she is not trying to judge him. Wrong is wrong no matter what you do and no one has the right to judge anybody, especially when they have done wrong themselves. I wish Chris all the best and hopes everything works out for him. And as for you haters, get a life!

ester is a cute girl… and like most of us, has some flaws… but that is nither here, nor there… as far as chris brown goes… stop judging this 19 year old boy, who is taking responsibility for his actions. i wish both of them the best… and this song lyrically is silly, they talking about a**es… lol! but the beat and arrangement of the song is hot…
