Rap-Up.com || Dr. Dre Says Motivation Delaying ‘Detox’

Dr. Dre’s Detox has been a long time coming and the delay is about to get even longer.

When asked by ABCNews.com what’s been keeping him busy, Dre laughed, “Only my album that I’ve been working on for the last 10 years, that’s it, Detox record.”

The hip-hop pioneer shot down any glimmer of hope that the project is coming out this year. “Hopefully I’ll get it done at the end of this year and we can hear it next year.”

What’s the holdup? “Motivation, other things getting in the way, that’s it.” And headphones. Just last week he unveiled a cheaper, lightweight version of his popular Beats by Dr. Dre.

Dude’s been around since 1984… for those who can’t count thats 25yrs… and he’s STILL creating buzz… so just be patient and wait for another CLASSIC record… Peace I’m out

Anyway, Dre makes more than $50 MILLION a year from royalties alone. He could not get out of bed ever again and make more money than most people make in a lifetime. I don’t blame him for lack of motivation. lol

JrJbaby I agree with you. I like to touch on that note real quick’ the guy lives a life most of us could only imagine, sure for most the thought of what this album could do sales wise would be enough to kick some motivation in us to last a decade, but I guess the saying is true its called Detox for a reasson. 2012.
