Nicole Scherzinger to Join the ‘Opera’

Nicole Scherzinger

Nicole Scherzinger is hanging up the patent leather corsets and leggings for now. While the Pussycat Dolls are on hiatus, the lead doll has taken a new job in a musical.

The 31-year-old singer is working with composer Andrew Lloyd Webber on his new play “Love Never Dies,” the sequel to “The Phantom of the Opera.” A rep for Scherzinger confirmed the reports to MTV News. The exact role she will play is currently unknown.

The show will premiere at London’s Adelphi Theatre on March 9 with a Broadway opening on November 11, 2010, according to the Los Angeles Times. An Australian debut is planned for 2011.

Excuse me check out this video at :50. PCD’s songs just puts her in a box and doesn’t really show off all her ranges.

@ Ye Nicole voice is more than strong enough, & she has classically trained, Opera vocals.

I know that’s exactly what she did in university. She did a lot of acting and musicals. I’m not surprised about this at all. Good for her. Taking her career to a different level.
