Rap-Up.com || Lil Wayne to Drop 3 Albums This Year?

In a video interview with The Hip Hop Chronicle UK (via New Lil Wayne), Birdman says Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter IV will drop the same day as Rebirth and the Young Money album, all on December 15.

“He’s coming with the rock album and Tha Carter IV. It’s gonna be a double disc…and the Young Money album all on the same day,” reveals Baby.

I don’t like the idea of the Young Money album dropping on the same day as Wayne’s. I feel that it’s going to be over looked and it won’t sale. They should have the YM album drop in November instead.

Thats a smart move and i can see why there doing that. You got Drake, Nicki Minaj, Kevin Rudolf, Bow Wow who are droppin albums next year so Waynes droppin his this year to make space for his other artists. its gonna be young money/cash money take over. The Rebirth album wasnt getting the right amount of push so i think he decided to just release it with his Carter 4. Perfect time to release an album is right before christmas so Wayne is one smart man.

I guess it is a good idea but i can tell you right now that “Tha Carter IV” will outsell the other two albums by a long shot. I think he realized that “Rebirth” wasn’t going to sell so he decided to just put it out the same day as the one that people really want (somewhat like a bonus album).

Thats the ONLY way the rebirth was going to move units and they know that.
Thats why they are going to package it with the carter. lmao

They thought the rebirth was gonna be successful. lol But they was just gassing they self cuz it wasnt received the way they thought it would be. They thought wayne was so dope that he could do anything like get away with making half ass “music”. But they were wrong.
Bet they feel salty.
This wayne-mania will be over soon after folks start realizing what real music sound like.

Hate on wayne all you want, But fuck wat yall think, hes a smart dude. Hes focused on the money man and hes makin plenty of it. 3 albums in one yr, including a rock album! Hes going outside the box on sum stuff that no1 else would be creative enough to do. this is all untrue. wayne came out and said tha carter IV will come out in 2010. he said “tha carter IV deserves tha carter IV” and also rebirth is coming out on december 21st. and wayne just dropped a single from rebirth called “on fire” and another one called “da da da” should be dropping soon.

Wayne’s not releasing Carter IV until he gets out of jail for a year. Or maybe it’s just never. Or maybe it’s further than never. But whatever happens in the next months to come, it doesn’t involve Carter IV. And no, it is not being released while he is in jail.

i remember in da carter 3 doc ..wayne sed dat his target 4 carter iv will b 5million copies sold …therefore i think dat the album shud b released solely…if not i stil tink dat it wl do good anyway.
