I don’t think you’re getting this. Chris felt he and Oprah had developed a personal friendship during his work with her school. I see how he did feel like ‘slapped’ when she came out on the air full blast, throwing him in with all the domestic violence creeps with her statements.

At the end of the day, Chris Brown is human, and as a human WE ALL MAKE MISTAKES and do things we are not proud of. It is so easy for haters to sit up and judge someone else, especially when they don’t know them. So what he caleed Rihanna “shawty” so what, yall act as though he called her a bitch or something. And as for the ones cracking on his vocabulary, Angie was messing up also. Everything Chris said is so true, I applaud him and I am proud of him. God has a plan for him, he didn’t bless Chris with all these talents for nothing. So I guess it is ok for a woman to put her hands on a man anytime she wants? One thing I wish Chris would do, is stop protecting Rihanna, she was just as wrong as he was, he doesn’t want to say what all she did, because she did wrong herself. And @ Maya What, you sound like a woman that hits on her man and thinks its ok, well its not. That is the main reason why women do not deserve equal rights, they should be able to pay the same consequences as a man. Keep moving forward Chris, everything will work out.

Oprah did say he needed help and she gave him her personal advice that he needed to seek professional help to become a better person. Sorry but I don’t think she said or did anything wrong. He beat the sh*t out of his girl friend left her beat up and bloody in a car for dead.
Be a man and say Oprah was right and I took her advice and got the help I needed.Which he is doing now and deal with it.

Whatever he called Rihanna shorty after being with her for two years. This is your typical young uneducated punk and its sad so, so, so sad. His vocabulary is horrible and this interview just shows you he is just a child and to me he really still doesn’t understand how horrible it is for a man/boy to physically put his hands on a woman never ever!

About the high school thing- so did he get his GED?Good for him (as if he needs it). And I don’t care how many times he says at the end of the day – AT THE END OF THE DAY, CHRIS BROWN IS THE MOST TALENTED AND GENUINE PERSON OUT THERE (they don’t usually go together).

@ marley Yeah, they mean the same thing. Shawty is just the more slang way of saying Shorty. Also people with different accents say it differently.
