Rap-Up.com || Exclusive: Rihanna to Perform at AMAs

The American Music Awards are about to get another boost of star power. Rihanna has been added to the lineup for the 2009 AMAs.

Sources exclusively tell Rap-Up.com that the “Russian Roulette” singer will take the stage at the 37th annual show on Sunday, November 22, a day before her fourth album Rated R is released on Super Monday.

Rihanna has performed twice on the show in the past and won three awards, including Favorite Soul/R&B Female Artist and Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist.

Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez, Black Eyed Peas, and Taylor Swift have previously been announced as performers. The AMAs will broadcast live from Los Angeles’ NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE on Sunday, November 22, at 8 p.m. EST/PST on ABC.

YES!she will see a happy Beyoncé receving her awards while she will perform a suicid song in front of angry white parents…Come o stans this is definitively a bad move for her carreer but she can keep on catwalking to stay relevant!

i’m looking forward to it…some are saying that they don’t like the song…and many are saying they are loving it…while she may lose some fans…she’s gaining a lot more because her songs are more meaningful. She’s hurt, so she’s expressing how she’s feeling. if she came out with a club, uptempo and a.s.s shaking video everyone would of said she was never hurt.

I WANT THE OLD RIHANNA BACK! She was looking pretty good and had more of a natural sound-She needs to request her release from Def Jam and find a label that will let her be her.
Saw some pics of her at Six Flags with the natural look-THAT’s what I want to see more of. Not the industry’s toy!
Glad that Teairra Mari got away from that while she had her chance-AT THAT POINT NOVEMBER 17!

I’m glad she is getting back on her feet…but her onstage energy is WACKKKKKK! Don’t get me wrong she is a good-looking girl and I will legally download any new songs I like from her new album.
Lucky for me, I will not see the AMAs bcuz I will most likely be @ the Chris Brown concert in Richmond that evening seeing….dare I say it…a REAL performance.
