Clearly she is speaking the the third person, meaning that she is still in love with Chris but the difference is that she realizes that it is not a healthy relationship. Like she said, “even if he doesn’t hit her again” it just tells me that she is considering it but logic prevails! Thank God! It’s rather sad that she is taking on so much responsibility for her fans? That isn’t fair! I mean she is her own person and still needs time to deal with her intensity for Chris (which doesn’t fade away overnight!) About the eye-contact? Means nothing, you can see that she is being genuine. Not looking in the eyes here, seems to me that she is trying her best to keep it together without breaking down! I for one know that if I look someone in the eye, talking about something so intense, I’d be angry. RiRi seems to be someone who like to take control of situations, hence she seems rightfully angry. But it goes back to the old mind-frame of an abused woman, that they can sort it out themselves. Well RiRi, better you angry now that this exploded and the truth came out, rather than you hiding it and believing that you will “sort it out yourself”… Had this not happened, you’d still be stuck in there…

Now in all fairness, I aint siding with no-one. My Last point is:

Women should never provoke men by nagging. I know that some women like to test their man’s limits! ABSURD! That is just instigating the issue. But on the other side of the coin, under no circumstances should a man ever, ever hit a woman! So you decide, was what happened just the pinnacle from a chain of events that started long before this? We can’t point fingers, no-one was around them all the time! These situations don’t happen with just one incident, something initiated this a while back!
