Video: On Set of Alicia Keys’ ‘Try Sleeping with a Broken Heart’

Alicia Keys has the gift and the curse in the video for her second single “Try Sleeping with a Broken Heart” off December 15th’s The Element of Freedom. She compares the character she plays to Will Smith’s Hancock and X-Men‘s Rogue.

“I have the blessing of having this ability to bring things back to life or to heal something when it’s sick,” Keys explains to Billboard. “As much of a blessing as that is, it’s also my curse because I can’t physically touch anyone that I love.”

    she should have just put mashonda in the video
