Rap-Up.com || Alicia Keys Enlists Drake for New Album

Everyone wants a piece of Drake. Alicia Keys is the latest superstar to call on the in-demand rapper for a collaboration.

The “Best I Ever Had” hitmaker is reportedly featured on a song from Keys’ fourth album The Element of Freedom, due December 15. Her longtime producer Kerry “Krucial” Brothers broke the news on Twitter.

“‘If you have something to say… U should say it right now,’” he wrote, possibly quoting the unnamed song’s lyrics. “Wow this new Ak and Drake is fire! I love my job.”

Also included on the album is “Empire State of Mind II,” the sequel to her hit with Jay-Z, featuring a new verse from Hov.

Alicia Keys aint Desperate. And Drake sure as hell wont make her album sell more. The guys EP flopped hard, thats why he is not bringing out a proper full length album. All you haters make me sick. Alicia is gonna sell like she usually does. Millions.

@Vanti, drake’s mixtape was free and it still sold 73k in the first week of commercial release. most artists can’t sell that with a brand new LP. his debut is one of the most anticipated albums of 2010. get ur facts straight

@Vanti, yeah, drake sure isnt releasing a full lenght album, yet his DEBUT is set to come out in february of 2010. and like EMPIRE STATE said, its the most anticipated album of next year. so please get your facts straight because i hate when ppl like you get on-line & type stupid stuff as if you know what you’re talking about to begin with.

LMAO Alicia has already made 3 albums without HUGE features and she’s sold really well. She can do whatever the hell she wants and I’m sure ya’ll will be ranting and raving about it anyway.

Oh and she even said in an interview before “Doesn’t Mean Anything” was released that she wished she could’ve worked with Drake soo…..

Alicia is a talented musician and artist who is able to compose, write and produce her own music. She also plays and reads music as well.–Not many R&B and HIP/HOP artist are self-contained.

The facts are clear, Drake is a Singles Artist, not an Albums Artist. So he should be honored to be working with Keys, period.

LMAO @ fools saying she is gonna flop…Try Sleeping with A Broken Heart was just released on Nov 10th…the girl is killing it on the airplay charts and the song will be released tomorrow on Itunes! I love her new music, and that track “Dreaming” is so amazing.

Alicia is à respected artist indeed. She already scored Many hits and her new album THE element of freedom shows us she has grown and that she is even a greater artist then before. She is very committed to helping sick children with her organisation keeping a child alive. And she does so many other brilliant things. I believe she is à gift from God! And regardig to swiss I would like to say you can’t decide who you fall in love with and it’s THE responsebility of THE person who is in a relationship to do THE right thing.
