Rap-Up.com || Janet Jackson Has Fallen for Alicia Keys

Out of all the pop princesses who came after her, Janet Jackson holds a special place in her heart for one in particular.

Miss Jackson reveals to The Times that she “loves” Alicia Keys’ music and spirit. “She has such a beautiful soul,” she tells the U.K. newspaper. “I love her for that. There’s not a lot of them.”

In addition to Keys, the 43-year-old singer “enjoys” Lady Gaga and appreciates the flattery from her younger peers. “I think it’s great for someone to emulate you,” she says. “It lets you know that they’ve watched your work and admired what it is you’ve done.”

Jackson’s greatest hits album Number Ones is available now.

@Me, So you telling me that Ciara, Beyoncé, Cassie, Keri Hilson, Rihanna don’t emulate Janet’s performance ethics and try to recreate themselves and sound by using all aspects of music including Rock elements?

Dear Me,
She is emulated in just about every way by young pop and r&b females. And all for the most part cite her as a major influence,. Janet does sing live. She is an icon and a legend. Not only that but she still looks incredible and moves better than Britney and most other young artists.

Janet and Alicia both are great!!! Janet paved the way for all the younger artist, and they should respect that, especially Beyonce….Janet set the standard(bar) for all of these girls…Janet is the baddest chick in the game, she’s 43 and still doing her thang been in the business for over 30 yrs. now that’s what you call an ICON!!!
