Rap-Up.com || Rihanna Gets Dirty in ‘Hard’ Video

Rihanna brought out the big guns—literally—in the militaristic video for “Hard,” the new single from Rated R. The clip, filmed in Los Angeles, was directed by Melina Matsoukas and features an appearance from Young Jeezy.

“It’s couture military,” Rihanna told MTV News of the concept. “Everything is surrounded around the idea of something military. We have tanks, we have troops, we’ve got helicopters, we’ve got explosions. We’ve got lots of cute outfits, lots of bullets. It’s crazy.”

To be honest, I miss the old Rihanna. I admired her at first for her non-mainstream direction with Rated R and I do like the album but I actually can’t wait ’til this project is over!

The reason: Well Rihanna has a lot of her sex appeal with this skanky, bad girl image. I know it’s ironic but when she actually wore clothes, she was more sexy! Now she looks like someone you find on a street corner. I yearn for the days when Rihanna had long wavy hair, cute tank tops and an actual smile on her face! So tired of everyone trying to be like Lady GaGa with the whole fashionista image!
