Personally, I REALLY don’t like Beyonce, but I can still see her talent and what she’s done for music. For the Rihanna and Lady Gaga comparison – that’s just stupid. Rihanna is nothing like Lady Gaga – music wise or style wise. The only thing that connects them both is their music and fashion being one thing. Rihanna’s career wasn’t killed by Lady Gaga; Rihanna wanted to do something much darker, something new for her. She’s grwon from a girl in 2005 doing Pop, R&B, Reggae and Dance-Hall to incorporate other genres of music, and become more edgy, with Rated R; a blend of Pop, R&B, Rock, Electro. Lady Gaga is great at what she does, but can’t you see that she is doing what Rihanna’s doing and done – evolving. Lady Gaga started out with spiky dress and cheesy synth-pop, and now she started to think more deeply about her music – and on The Fame Monster – she’s become more mature as an artist. The Fame still hasn’t sold as much as Good Girl Gone Bad. Rihanna is a great artist because she tries something new, and she is pushing her own boundries; she’s become an idol for children because of just that. Rihanna’s accent is what people love; her vocals are unique. She’s never been the best live, but hell – she’t not a trained singer and she’s grown so much over the last 4/5 years. If you look at someone like Beyonce, she’s been in the industry since she was 6, Gaga’s been singing (instructed) since she was 4. You can’t take anything away from Rihanna, because she’s worked hard for what she’s got – and she deserves it.

& thats exactly why Ashanti’s last album debuted at #6 on the Billboard 200 & as of December 6, 2009 only sold 246, 000 copies. It’s also the reason she starred in (I guess blockbusters in your eyes since thats your homie) FLOPS such as: John Tucker Must Die & Resident Evil: Extinction. Might I add, both are 5 bucks at your local Wal-Mart. Ashanti was dazzling in the Wiz, which I guess is the reason it wasn’t a success & got dismal reviews by the New York Times. ALSO I guess her ONE Grammy in 2003 makes her better than Rihanna, although she has one too (Rap-Up, that one kinda left me confused. Did ya’ll see a difference?) I thought she did well with both performances and and the skit. I’m usually not at all moved by her performances, well more like bored to tears, becuz it’s like she’s not up to par in the stage department, as far as energy, aura, personality and etc. I’m not a fan of “RR”, but still she did good, and with the “Hard” performance she seemed as if she was actually enjoying what she was doing, and had energy, I thought it was better than the AMA performance. And the skit was nice too. And I have to give it to her on the album tip too, Love it!

The skit was funny as hell…. The outfits during the performances were great…. I enjoyed the stage presence during the Russian Roulette performance and it was cool to see her finally perform Hard with Jeezy.

I watched SNL and that and the tiger woods skit where the bomb.
The Tiger Woods skit was a little insensitive seeing Rihanna was the musical guest but except for that, they were the best of the night.

She did really good performances but I thought the band was a little loud.

One thing I must say the Band itself was off the hook. I hear they have a name now and they are really good the addition of Nuno has strengthened the rock sound of the band and he is brilliant. I have not followed Rihanna before but with her new sound, her new material and her new band she has a new Fan.

She told the whole truth. She didnt rehearse her interview then dress up like “Sharon Stone” and the public respected her and wished her well the group became BIGGER! Rihanna’s career is TANKING and its all KARMA because she LIED! She can keep convincing herself non-stop that what she did was right because she wants to be the face of DM and “help young girls”, but she cant help them by lying! Shes not trying to help or save anything when she lies, but her career, reputation and endorcement deals. Bottom Line…Stop lettin this chick blow smoke u yall azz!

Rihanna sucks when it comes to Live Performances. she is boring. But I can say she sounds better then the other shows and looks like she is having more fun.. “SNL Digital Short” was very Funny and I wish her the Best.. Just get some dancer on stage or something.. Young Jeezy was Great.. Good job guys..

HATERS STOP HATING!! ri-ri did great in all her performances just because she’s not bubbly and smiles all the damn time doesn’t mean she doesn’t have personality it just means that she’s real and doesn’t act fake for no one..and as far as her accent goes [how rude] you guys need to get a life and let these artist live there’s because obviously there doing something better with their life then you!! she is a fashion icon and if you dont like her then why are you commenting on this losers!!
