VEVO Launch Party: Inside

Mariah Carey and Rihanna

Hip-hop, R&B, pop, country, and rock were all under one roof on Tuesday (Dec. 8). Stars like Mariah Carey, Rihanna, Ciara, 50 Cent, Young Jeezy, Mary J. Blige, and Justin Timberlake mingled with Taylor Swift, Adam Lambert, Sheryl Crow, John Mayer, and Shania Twain at the star-studded launch for premium music video website VEVO at Skylight Studio in New York City.

Executives including Doug Morris, L.A. Reid, Tommy Mottola, and Clive Davis showed off their newest venture, while Lady Gaga entertained the high-profile crowd with “Speechless” and Q-Tip DJ’d.

    Ever since MC has been on the scene she has said she’s 5’8/5’9 ft tall. I’ve seen her live many times too and she’s really tall but compared to RiRi she’s short. RiRi is listed as 5’8 and MC as 5’9…MC’s heels look a lot shorter than RiRi’s though.

    Mariah & Rihanna are the best!
    It’s kind of weird that their albums didn’t skyrocket to the top of the charts like they were supposed to.
    I think their albums were great.
    I can listen through their albums without skipping.
    Rated R is Rihanna’s best so far

    I think ciara looks the best of them all. Ciara does such amazing things and I believe she is an artist that is slept on. She is constantly evolutionizing and taking her artistry to the next level. Ciara can and will come back strong and all the haters that were calling her a flop will see you can fall and get back up. Just notice how she is playing the backround, she is going to come back hard in 2010
