Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj

Mariah Carey and the Barbie doll herself Nicki Minaj are this holiday season’s must-have toys. The two ladies pose behind plastic packaging on set of Mariah’s video for “Up Out My Face (Remix).” The clip, which was filmed last week in Los Angeles, was directed by Nick Cannon. Look for the song on Mimi’s Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel remix album, due February 23.

    @Curvaceous, Ashanti doesnt need to resort in being fashioned into a cheap doll. Haha Mariah so silly…. Ashanti is an accomplished relevant singer who has changed the face of pop culture. Ashanti has proven time and time again why the music industry, and therefore the entertainment world, needs her singing and acting abilities.

    Though I believe Ashanti is in the studio working on another #1 album. Ashanti will reign in 2010- multiplatinum album, more #1 singles to add to the collection, major star power on Broadway, and her fragrance line and Oscar worthy acting movie roles. Ashanti will definitely run 2010.

    BUT how the hell has Ashanti “changed the face of pop culture”? Mariah was the one who put ODB on a track and really brought pop-collabos to the extreme/mainstream!!!!! Since MC, everyone has a hip-hop/rap feature. When Ashanti has as many accomplishments as MC…then you can compare. And as for the acting thing…MC i in the Oscar-worthy movie with a performance that has garnered her a number of awards not to mention praise from just about everyone! As well, MC has three popular fragrances and has a hand in an expensive Champagne. The world knows MARIAH, many people around the world do not know Ashanti.
