Rap-Up.com || Beyoncé Catches ‘Heat’ in Fragrance Ads

Beyoncé is burning up in the print ad and TV commercial, below, for her first fragrance Beyoncé Heat, which goes on sale in February. Industry experts estimate it could do $100 million at retail globally in its first year.

The superstar explained the concept behind the fragrance. “A lot of my performances have had fire involved, so we thought ‘Heat.’ Also, red is one of my favorite colors, as is gold,” she told WWD. “Everything, from the bottle design to the name and the ideas for the commercials—that’s me.”

The picture and the commercial are both boring. Is that even a new picture of her? All her ads for Dereon and now this Heat are just tired. Can she dare to be different at least once? Horrible slogan too “Catch the fever.” She should have played on her Louisiana Creole roots and cooked something up. Maybe speak the language. Do something different.

Remember when J.lo, Britney, Mariah, and all the other celebrities had there first fragrances? I remember buyin my girl J.Lo’s perfume for $100 and there was a long line to get it. Now you can find that perfume at JC Penney, Wal-mart, CVS, and Target for less than $20. Somethins tellin me this perfume is gonna end up just like them..

What is she doin? She had told serveral times (read years ago) that she is allergic. I think she thought by herself oeps I don’t must not tell this anymore if I ever want to bring a parfume out with my name on it!

She looks better on the commercial (except at 0:12~0:13 seconds – that was a scary face!) than the ad, which looks tacky/creepy. I’m liking the perfume bottle, though. Loves me some good perfume!
