I don’t know what European charts you’ve been watching, but this album has FLOPPED everywhere. Not only has it gotten absolutely terribly reviews, it didn’t even debut in the Top 50 in the UK, and only peaked in the 30s in the US and Australia. I don’t think it even charted in Japan.

I like Timbo but this song sounds overproduced, and the rest of the album is mediocre. Both singles videos are an interesting direction, but just don’t hold the viewer’s attention like a good music video should…

Timbo and Missy need to find each other again, and quickly!

The way videos used to be… featuring an actual story. Great song and Katy looks great. Its a pop album. Tim became the sound of pop music and it makes him more money than hip hop. It’s a great album and if you think about it each song stands on its on as a single. It’s not really a cohesive album as much as it is more like a features album. Sometimes I do agree that he dumbs it down compared to what the music used to be but if you can’t even look into the video and appreciate an actual concept then how could truly appreciate the incredibly complex production Tim used to put out. The consumer has changed and is shallow and quite fickle. They want immediate stimulation and something uberly accessible. Tim did that not only with Nelly’s and Justin’s albums but with the shock value albums. Big dance sounds with catchy melodies. Add star power and you’ve got money.

BTW: Timbo is not fat imo… lol random but there was an earlier post and people were really hating. The dude doesn’t look remotely fat. It’s called muscle people. He didn’t have a bely in the pics. He is a body builder.

I haven’t seen the “Say Something” video; so are all his video’s supposed to expand on each other? Like if you watch them all in order they tell a story. If that’s not the case then maybe he should’ve tried that. Oh well, I didn’t even bother paying attention to the actors — just kept my eyes on Katy,

He’s taking the smart approach…the album is blowing up overseas…as always people in the states catch on later!
