Rap-Up.com || Kelis Is Statuesque at Sundance

Kelis took the night off from being a mom to perform at the Film Lounge during the 2010 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, on Friday (Jan. 22). The New Yorker was in an “Empire State of Mind,” dressed in a Statue of Liberty-inspired getup. The singer, whose new album Fleshtones is due this spring, was all smiles as she danced and sipped from a giant glass of Stella Artois.

I got a chance to hear some new tracks from her new album, “Flesh Tone” and I must say…Kelis is about shut it DOWN!!!!!!!!!
She is about to take music to another level and I mean every word I say. The album is slated to drop in late April.

I rather not talk about it, so when the album comes out the egg will be on your face ATLANTIC RECORDS. By the way, Kelis’ 1st album is a classic. Kelis continues to set trends in music and fashion and its evident. Why are these urban female artist are still biting Kelis’ style and sound from the “Kelis Was Here” circa? Kelis may not be a big seller, but she’s still here and she is still creating incredible music.
