Even though we’re in a recession, Jamie Foxx wants his girl to quit her 9 to 5 and come watch foreign films with him—just don’t touch his Ferrari. Tricky Stewart and The-Dream, who helmed the Oscar winner’s Grammy-nominated hit “Blame It,” supply the production’s bouncy beat and piano chords.
“He’s one of our favorite artists to work with. When I think of Jamie, I’m always gonna think to pound the urban community,” Tricky told Rap-Up.com about working on Foxx’s fourth album. “He has a really solid fan base in the urban community and I feel like his pop appeal comes through his personality, so we’ll make sure that we keep the music really urban.”

@100% Nikehead, The Grammys and ASCAP give Tricky and Dream credit for the song too. http://www.grammy.com/nominees

Tricky Stewart and The-Dream are only credited because Blame It contains an interpolation of I Luv Ya Girl (The f*** that n**** line, to be precise). Tricky Stewart and The-Dream only did Digital Girl and Just Like Me on Intuition.

@SupaCi, yeah Tricky Stewart did those solo, though. The-Dream wasn’t involved.

“Quit Your Job” is written by The-Dream and produced by Los Da Mystro. NOT Tricky Stewart.
