Brandy & Ray J to Star with Family in VH1 Reality Series![]() First there were the Osbournes, the Hogans, and the Kardashians. Now the Norwoods are set to join the roster of famous reality families by starring in their own television show.
The superstar siblings will appear in the VH1 reality program “Brandy and Ray J: A Family Business,” along with their parents, entertainment manager and mother Sonja and musical father Willie Norwood. The one-hour, 11-episode series will give viewers a first-hand glimpse into the lives of the Norwood family and their family business, Rn’B Productions. Run by Sonja, Rn’B Productions features a roster of musical artists including Brandy, Ray J, and their father Willie, who also serves as the company’s vocal coach. But with Sonja ready to take a step down, Brandy and Ray J will have to fill her shoes quickly all the while taking the family business to the next level. The show documents Brandy as she records her next album with Timbaland, while raising her seven-year-old daughter Sy’rai. Her younger brother Ray J digs beyond his notorious bad boy image and collaborates on his own musical project with Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins and other producers. Reality television is nothing new for the famous siblings. Both have starred on reality shows, Brandy in 2002′s MTV series “Diary Presents Brandy: Special Delivery” and Ray J in VH1′s “For the Love of Ray J.” Will the Norwoods have what it takes to continue to stay in the limelight while growing an entertainment empire? Watch as they overcome obstacles and stick together in “Brandy and Ray J: A Family Business,” premiering on VH1 Sunday, April 11, at 9 p.m. TweetYou can leave a response, or trackback from your own site. 16 CommentsLeave a Reply

Norwood Family FTW. You really can’t go wrong with them.. (well you can with Ray J, let me stop lying).. but for the most part they are a positive example of the African American family, the different dynamics that go along with it, and showing that perseverance and sticking together will always work out in the end! From Mississippi and took those dreams and hard work straight to the top.
Brandy is very special to me. I couldn’t elaborate enough in one post.

This should be interesting, but you know these reality shows…producers always want drama because all they care about is ratings. So I don’t know how good of an idea this is. My prediction: it’s starts off normal, but then later it either gets dropped for being too boring or producers start adding scripts to make it seem more interesting to keep the show alive. That’s how a lot these shows are. Unless they’re really crazy already (that I doubt but you never know.)

In all honesty who whould seriously devote their time to watch this show? It sounds as interesting as a piece of bread. I guess the Kardashians have a talent in something by paving the way for uninteresting reality-tv families.

please speak for yourself because I for one will be watching, it seams very interesting and they are a wonderful family. The Norwood’s been here long ebfore the kardashians so they didn’t pave the way for anyone. No one is asking you to watch it just like no one asked you to comment on this post.
I can’t wait to tune in!!!
