janet must change her style which means new cheorgraher, new dancing and style. Moreover, she has to sing like in ALl for you, or the velvet rope cd. and evenmore, hopefully AM records will promote her, Janet made in at a time when you had to have talent to proceed, Nowadays, radio plays only the same top 15 tracks that are giving them kickbacks, Radio use to take chances, but nowadays, it is sad. Back in day all these so called divas would not have even won a grammy, let alone get selected. THe mu8sic indrustry is for sale, with great lobbying anyone can be on top.

I have read that Janet is working with Jim-Jam and Terry on this album, she said she’s going to do 10 dance songs on this album and a few mid-tempo records, It has not said anything about working with Jermaine Dupri.

@Dawo, let me just say that all these new chicks are in the game b/c of Ms. Janet. She would tap dance all over Beyonce’s behind btw. Even in her middle age.

BUT–Janet really needs to stop working with JD. The music he produces for her is really weak. She needs to go back to working with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis–they made good music together.

I really hope it’s true that the album is primarily JJ+TL and Rodney … I hope the Bryan Michael Cox quote is about the WDIGM2 soundtrack.

I’ll say this though: as long as Janet is back to writing and producing herself, it will be an improvement. As much as I think Janet needs to work with JJ+TL, the main problem with “Discipline” was that she didn’t write or produce any of it. The more Janet, the better.
