At first I thought, “OK, maybe this could work” when I listened to the new version (though disappointed that you-know-who wasn’t going to be on it-they had previously announced that as the first official single).
Then I Googled to see who produced this, and what do you know:
THE LEGENDARY TRAXSTER.
At this point, my disappointment turned into anger (because we coulda heard them BOTH over a Traxster beat). Living right above Chicago, I feel that’s the biggest snub we got since finishing DEAD LAST in the voting for the 2016 Olympics. (Luda BETTER be glad I’m not Dr. Bruce Banner-”You call THAT disturbing peace? HULK SMASH PUNY RAPPER!”)
(20 minutes later, after I calmed down)
OK…maybe I’m exaggerating a bit. But still, that was a HUGE deflation in my hopes for musical hearing. If any of you ever get to interview either of the two parties involved in the original, I hope you ask if any of them could release the original version of it as “Battle of the Sexes: Director’s Cut”. If not, I hope Shawnna at least releases her own BotS album and picks up another male artist to fill the void (my top choice would be Twista)

Heard complete original version Of Battle of the Sexes and Shawnna killed him on all of the tracks and I feel he might have been intimidated by how she snapped so he put simple bitches to add to it . It is fine but give credit where credit is due .
