Rap-Up.com || Whitney Houston Kicks Off World Tour

Whitney Houston launched her first tour in 10 years over the weekend in Seoul, South Korea. 11,000 fans converged on Olympic Park to see the pop diva perform on the first two dates of her “Nothing But Love” world tour.

The 46-year-old singer broke into a sweat as she ran through hits from her 25-year catalog, including classics like “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” and “I Will Always Love You” to newer fare such as “If I Told You That” and “Million Dollar Bill.”

She acknowledged her milestone in the music business. “I don’t want to tell you this, but I’ve been in show business for 30 years now. I can’t believe it myself. It seems like it was only yesterday,” she told her adoring fans.

Two of the late Michael Jackson’s dancers are now touring with Whitney, who sang “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’” and “The Way You Make Me Feel” in memory of her “dear friend.”

Wow! Whitney kilt it! I wasn’t going to listen but she sounds amazing! The medley (SAMLFY) and Strenght- those high notes, wow! she still got it!
lol @ her doing Michael Jackson! cute and she soungs good, go head mama Whit! Lol at her moves in “For the lovers” she sure is moving arond for 46yrs old.
I’d pay to see her- any US dates!

Rap-up did the right thing by putting a direct quote in quotation marks. Having said that, Truth, you’re right, she was a true friend with Michael and never tried to grab the spotlight when he died. She started to do a tribute to him in her shows from Russia and i’m glad to see her continuing to honor and speak about his massive talent/her friend all around the world.
Love that she took two of his dancers with her. I’m a huge Michael fan and Whitney I so admire her for doing this.
BTW, that was an onpoint MJ impersonation of ‘The Way you Make ME feel’ in the ‘Missing You’ clip. She sounded good and even did Mike’s little move!

OK, I can tell whitney is still smoking! Is she ever gonna put down them newports? I swear… that’s not a cold from coughing, it’s a smoker’s cough and she’s had it in russian concerts and on and off over last 2-3 yrs. how the hell can u comeback if you dont treat your voice as an instrument and do the minimum for vocal recovery? damn, she’s 46.. very short time frame to repair her voice or it’s shot permanently. the above shows she cant sing anymore. sigh, sad.

Some people just can’t stand people keeping their heads up and trying to move on. They’ll NEVER be good enough b/c some people keep judging them for their past, but if it was done to the people judging then they’d be all hot about it.
