Brazilians wondering why their country was so hot can blame Alicia Keys and Beyoncé. The sizzling superstars turned up the temperature in Rio de Janeiro Tuesday (Feb. 9) to shoot the video for their collaboration “Put It in a Love Song.”
The South American city’s colorful backdrop served as the setting for the visuals to the third single from Keys’ Element of Freedom album. The clip is being directed by Melina, who’s teaming with Keys for the first time, and features vibrant Carnival-inspired outfits.
Check out a gallery of on-set photos and video below.
it’s not vibrant Carnival-inspired outfits, it’s the way people in africa dress! i’m from africa i know what i’m talking about and it makes me mad when people talk about costume…
Glad some folks know their stuff. Those costumes are African inspired. Believe me I know. We dress the same way for Carnival in the Caribbean. This is just in time for Carnival season by the way. Nobody does Carnival like the Caribbean and Latin America. If you think I’m joking go watch the footage on youtube. We don’t play!
BEYONCE IS LEGEND! ONLY SHE CAN START THIS MUCH CONTROVERSY> TWO OF THE BIGGEST VIDEOS ABOUT TO PREMIER WITH HER THEM IN THEM. THE MUSIC INDUSTRY IS IN A TIZZYYYYYY
hmm…by l00king at the pics wasnt really expecting this…thought of s0mething different but Alicia better dance cause I never seen her d0 it properly, Maybe Beyonce will teach her a few m0ves anyways l00ks like they having a blast… Wish Akey would just sh0w a little m0re skin
I am soooo NOT impressed I dont like this song and I agree with Beyonce it is time for her to take a break too much exposure is not good and it shows in her record sales her debut 4 mil the follow up 3 mil shasa or stasha whatever it is 2 mil (those are not my numbers thats what RIAA has certified those albums at Im sure someone will dissagree but u can look those figures up) like her but yeah break time!
