After signing an unprecedented record deal and performing at the Grammys, Drake gets his first major endorsement. The rapper appears in “Unleashed,” part of Sprite’s global marketing campaign “The Spark,” set to air during TNT’s NBA All-Star Game this Sunday.
The Grammy nominee struggles to find inspiration in the studio while recording his hit “Forever.” After taking a sip of Sprite, his body explodes, revealing the various components that make him up. He reassembles and rediscovers his creativity to record a perfect take. CGI was used to create a Drake look-alike animatronics model for the ad’s special effects.
