Video: Dondria Sings the National Anthem

Check out So So Def signee and YouTube sensation Dondria singing “The Star-Spangled Banner” at the T-Mobile Rookie Challenge during NBA All-Star Weekend in her hometown of Dallas on Friday (Feb. 12). Despite nerves, the “You’re the One” singer still delivered an impressive vocal performance.

You can hear the nerves in her voice. To me she is just average, I have seen better on Youtube. No hate.

She did good. She did seem a bit nervous. Love how she put her own spin on it thou, especially w/ the lil run & she punched w/ the lil end note. But, she paused & breathed in/gulped quite a few times that was noticeable, and through her off. great job, love her.

love Dondria, she’s got such a truly amazing voice, I just wish she’d hurry and drop that album! I pray that people don’t sleep on it, I really do. As for the performance, you could hear her gulp a few times due to nerves but it didn’t take away from it in my opinion, it was still beautiful.

She is def going somewhere. Her song is #42 on the charts and she is getting good promo. You don’t know what she is capable of.

But anyway ON TO THE NEXT. You can def. hear the nerves in her voice. Singing in front of that many ppl can make you feel reckless. But she stille delivered.
