Ludacris comes full circle on his latest track from March 9th’s Battle of the Sexes. The man who brought us “Ho” in 2000 follows it up with “Hey Ho” 10 years later. But don’t let the title fool you. According to Luda, he’s speaking about the double standard of men sleeping around and being called players and pimps, but when women do the same thing, they’re called hos.

And what’s a sexually-charged song without Lil’ Kim? The Queen Bee gets back to her Hard Core days, showing the boys it ain’t always a man’s world. “Ya’ll don’t fuck us, ni**as we fuck you,” she spits.

This has me checking for the album again (after “My Chick Bad” I’d given up because Nicki paled in comparison to what Shawnna woulda done).

But this…this makes me a believer again. Catchy hook, plus Lil’ Kim returns to TOP form (“Naked Truth” was classic, dunno what had happened since then), and the beat was SWEEEEET!

(And besides, it’s nice to hear Lil’ Fate back after so long)
