Kelly Rowland celebrated her 29th birthday by eating her Grammy-decorated cake and working the pole at Haze Nightclub in Las Vegas’ Aria Hotel on Thursday (Feb. 18). Rap-Up.com recently caught up with Claude Kelly (“Party in the U.S.A.”), who’s writing for the birthday girl’s new album.

“She’s more open to trying anything now, and she’s in a place where she can definitely say no,” reveals the songwriter. “She’s Kelly Rowland! I think people are going to like her new stuff a lot.”

    I am actually excited for her. I really want to see what’s going to happen with her next album. I feel like solo success for the FIRST time in her career is in her grasp because there will be no one there holding her back from it. (and NO im not talking about Beyonce I’m talking about the fu*cker who made Beyonce) Go kelly. And Michelle. And Beyonce. I love Destiny’s Child.

    I think Rap-UP MAg needs to have Kelly & Nelly on the cover of there next MAG .. they can get an article about how it was for both of them working 2gthr again and all that.. we need to email rap up, get Kelly on that dam cover ..
