Lady Gaga Electrifies at U.K. Tour Launch![]() Lady Gaga thrilled 23,000 fans at Manchester’s M.E.N. Arena on Thursday (Feb. 18) for the opening date of her U.K. “Monster Ball.” The revamped arena version of her “pop-electro opera” features brand-new sets, concepts, and 15 costume changes, but the same outrageous Gaga. She opened the show with “Dance in the Dark,” performed “Telephone” for the first time on tour, set her piano ablaze during “Speechless,” and shared the stage with a 40-foot mechanical sea monster for “Paparazzi.” Gaga, ooh-la-la!

That is soooo sick! Why she didn’t do this for the US tour?

She didn’t do that for the US because the venues were small. When she comes back to the US tour with Arenas, I’m pretty sure she’ll bring this monster.
