Nelly Furtado worked up a sweat, performing at a private concert at The Fillmore Miami Beach in Miami, Fla., on Friday night (Feb. 19). The singer, who kicks off her Mi Plan Latin American tour on March 16 in Guadalajara, Mexico, is finishing up her fifth album, expected to be released in May.

Early collaborations include Timbaland, who executive produced 2006′s smash Loose, and Salaam Remi (Amy Winehouse, Nas, Fugees). The multi-platinum album debuted at No. 1 and spawned the hit singles “Promiscuous,” “Maneater,” and “Say It Right.”
