Rap-Up.com || New Music: Monica

Monica takes a look in the “Mirror” on a new song from her March 23rd release Still Standing. The R&B vet reflected on the significance of the Jim Jonsin production in an interview with Rap-Up.com.

“I have to say one of my absolute favorite songs on the album is ‘Mirror,’” she revealed. “The reason that this song means so much to me, it’s about being comfortable with what you see when you look in the mirror, but it’s over a mid[tempo] beat that’s still very hip, very new, and very young.”

this ish right here is going to be a hit…just like i knew bedrock and rude boy would be a top ten hit.
sorry to say this but people are getting tired of the same heavy weights in our face and they will go to other artists with quality music…that’s whats happening now

oh word???!!! an ALBUM!!!!! with tracks and everything? that’s crazy yo. Hey both the artist and this song start with M that’s amazing! This album is going to be off the hook. It might be a bit early to say but this could be album of the decade already? i mean who else is gonna compete with it? I’m glad I pre-ordered 7 copies of the special limited edition!
If you need me March 23rd I’ll be the one camped out in front of Wal-Mart. OMG. I’m going to pre-order a few copies on iTunes just so that I can listen to it after midnight while I’m waiting in my camp out tent. lol.
