Mathew Knowles, Nixon, and Alexsandra Wright

There’s a new addition to the Knowles family. Beyoncé and Solange’s father, Mathew Knowles, has been named the father of a baby boy.

According to TMZ, a DNA test has confirmed reports that Knowles is the father of Nixon, his first son, born February 4. The mother is Alexsandra Wright, who claims she had an 18-month affair with the music executive.

Wright filed a paternity suit against Knowles in October. He was temporarily ordered to pay $8,200 in monthly child support until a settlement is reached.

Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, filed for divorce from her husband of over 30 years last fall after being separated since January 2009. They have two daughters together, Beyoncé, 28, and Solange, 23.

I don’t get men. He was married to Tina for 30 years and decides now to cheat. (Course he might have been cheating several times before. This just might be the one time he got caught red handed.) That’s too bad for this family to have to go through something so hurtful publicly, it’s a shame people who are under a microscope on a daily basis have to deal with there problems in the open rather then private! thats whats wrong with you people….just because someone looks good does not mean they treat you good. tina knowles probably didn’t want to give up the “good good” as Ashanti will say it. so mathew knowles went else where looking. what do you expect, a man to wait until the uptight wifey to please them…hel to no. there are plenty of fish in the sea. besides tina and mathew were seperated before he had this affair, so tina was well aware of what was going on.

I agree with you post second to last, let not forget that Tina has a part to play. Somehow, ihave this feeling that tina did not spend much time with mathew; it has always been about beyonce. they neglected their marriage to turn beyonce into maga-star.

It’s amazing to me that people will blame the wife for her husband’s actions. Bottom line is this…two people took vows and no matter what is going on at home, either work it out or leave. Tina didn’t get the enjoyment of making the baby and I can be almost positive that she did trip her husband and make him “fall” into his mistress. So she should not accept responsibility for her husband being a jerk and going against his marriage…separated or not. There is no reason to cheat… not if you are a real man or woman…just be real and honest. It would be hard to do, but better in the long run for all parties involved and it would save them the embarrassment that Beyonce and her family is facing now. People better wake up and take care of their mess or, as proven, their mess will start taking care of them.
