Rap-Up.com || Single Cover: Christina Aguilera

Christina Aguilera gets naughty on the black-and-white cover for “Not Myself Tonight,” the first single from her fourth studio album Bionic. The pop singer has collaborated with M.I.A., Flo Rida, Sia, Claude Kelly, and Tricky Stewart, among others, on the project.

“She’s mixing it up again. She’s singing R&B again, she’s doing pop. She’s doing it all, but she’s found a way to make it all meet in the middle because she’s so many different things,” Tricky told Rap-Up.com last year. “She’s a real serious musician, she’s a real serious pop artist, and she’s a real serious singer. She’s making all her audiences happy at the same time.”

Hmm.. idk what to say. It’s very dark, & demonic to me. I love her, but this is a bit much. But, since I love her, & more importantly her MUSIC, i’ll take it with a grain of salt for now.

can’t wait….been a fan since Back to basics (one of the most original pieces of pop music in the 00′s in my opinion). She’s probably one of the smartest and most creative popstars of this generation. You never know what she’ll come up with next…..I’m especially looking forward to her collab with M.I.A….now that will be wicked!!!

I love the cover, but I cud do without the horns, and everything else thats drawn in, it looks a little cheesy to me. I am excited to hear wat shes gonna bring to the table,she has a tough act to follow with Lady Gaga being on the scene, especially since she publicly dissed her wen asked if she was copying her style.

She betta werk! I can’t wait to hear her new material. I’ve been missing her on the radio. Sounds like the album will have a lot of more urban tracks on it. Maybe we’ll get some urban electro, but then again Christina has been a diehard R&B fan since she was little and will always incorporate her roots into her records. She looks everyone from Nina Simone and Billie Holiday to Aretha and Chaka to Whitney and Toni and D’Angelo, India.Arie and Erykah Badu
